Just one question . If you are elected what are you going to do about all of the illegal aliens in this state ? If I do not get a reply you can forget about my vote .
I heard you speak at the July 4th rally in Boiling Springs! It will be my honor to support you! I’m glad that we will have one true conservative to vote for this time around! Let’s evict Ingles!
I think plaintiffs’ lawyers impede the country’s economic recovery. I also think they undermine business ethics. They particularly stand in the way of sensible medical malpractice reform as a way to lower the nation’s health care costs.
I have a blog How To Combat Plaintiffs’ Lawyers where I record my efforts to communicate with lawmakers, judges, attorney generals and academics, among others, about how I believe plaintiffs’ lawyers ill serve societal interests.
I receive no remuneration for any of my activities. I am not a member of any tort reform organization, chamber of commerce, or any other organization that has an interest in opposing plaintiffs’ lawyers.
Congress is debating more stimulus, health care reform, and other governmental action to get our nation’s economy back on track, and the country is moving toward the 2010 elections that will be a referendum on how the current Congress performs about these important domestic issues.
I hope you, as a United States Senator or Representative, or as a candidate for the Senate or the House of Representatives, will look at the contribution the plaintiffs’ lawyers make to the country’s economic difficulties and will consider, advocate and propose legislative action to lessen the problem of the plaintiffs’ lawyers.
Thank you for your question, Rick. Illegal immigration is a problem that Dr. Jeffrey takes very seriously. She strongly believes that we need to enforce all of our laws addressing this issue, while securing our borders and ports of entry. We also need to deport all those found to be in this country illegally. We have the tools to get this problem under control. The E-verify program needs to be implemented by every employer. If illegal aliens thought they would be deported or have difficulty finding any work, most would leave voluntarily.
Illegal immigration depresses wages and denies US citizens jobs to which they have a right. It also imposes enormous costs on the American taxpayer, who ends up footing the bill for indigent health care provided in emergency rooms, for schooling, roads, law enforcement, prisons, etc. In an age of terrorism and jihad, it is imperative that everything be done to ensure that not a single, new illegal immigrant sets foot in this country. It is a problem for which Republicans and Democrats bear responsibility.
You may be sure that Dr. Jeffrey sees this issue as being among the nation’s highest priorities, and one that she will vigorously address when she gets to Congress.
We would like to know if you agree with us that it is a fundamental national priority to totally abolish the illegal Federal Reserve which was not voted upon by a 2/3 majority in 1913, and subsequently return all monetary printing power with audits, back to the hands of our elected Congress?
I noticed in your bio that you studied under Dr. Bella Dodd and Ludwig von Mises. That study could only have occurred at the University of Plano. I attended there from 1968-1971, graduating with a BA in political science. You must be unbelievable busy with you campaign, but I would love to hear from you. I would eagerly vote for you, but I live in Anniston, Alabama. Best wishes for your campaign! You will be the best Member of Congress since John Ashbrook.

Christina, you were my candidate from Day 1 (in fact, although I was in a different district, I supported you when you ran in Georgia.
However, I have become quite alarmed at the war the Boiling Springs Tea Party seems to be waging with the Greenville County GOP. Without knowing all the facts, it seems to me that they rejoice at the GOP’s embrass of the Tea Party movement, not condemn it. (It was the Greenville County Young Republicans who held the first two Tea Parties in the area, so how can they be hijaking the movement. I am a precinct chairman, and I will be at the meeting at Greenville Tech on Monday, and I don’t relish the idea of being met with a bunch of rabid people with pitchforks. I back the Tea Party movement 100%, have attended four tea parties locally plus the one in Washington. We can not afford to fight among ourselves and try to see who can get the most credit. The Democrats have long ago learned to present a united front bringing together blacks, gays, feminists, labor unions. If we fight among ourselves, we will be doomed.
In response to the Jan 22 4:29 entry, Yes, to abolish the Fed Reserve and return jurisdiction of US monies to Congress, would be a good step back toward the original Constitution, which originally had Congress as sole authority over the US Treasury. Of course, it is assumed we still must elect men of Christian honor and honesty to fill the seats of Congress as were elected in 1776.
I noticed an article in the American Family Radio newsletter about your objection to questions asked on the American Community Survey. I have downloaded and read the entire survey. Most of these items have been asked on census forms in the past, with the exception of number of marriages, and when a person leaves for work and how long it takes to get there, healthcare, etc. Personally, I can see the value of most of these questions, as long as they are absolutely confidential. I think the way the questions are being asked is rather blunt, as opposed to the way it was handled in the 1800s. I would not want to fill this out for a census taker who comes to my door. I am a genealogist, who loves to use the census, and have found valuable health information, such as Lung trouble, glaucoma, etc. Have found that certain of these conditions follow from generation-to-generation. I feel that most people are afraid to give information to the government DUE TO THE FACT THAT WE DO NOT TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT.
Recently, I listened To you Bob McLain’s radio debate for congressional candidates for the 4th district. I was disappointed in your delivery but not in your substance. You were hesitant, not slick enough, and I suggest you bone up on talking points on a broad spectrum of issues. Having said that, I am going to share with you some details of a major issue that I have rarely heard any one speak to and one in which Rep. Inglis is highly vulnerable. That is the issue of NON-CITIZENS being able to vote. I know, the law says it is illegal. However, since the passage of the 1993 voter registration bill by Congress, It is very easy to circumvent the law and is probably one of the main reasons that Acorn has been so successful in perpetrating voter fraud across the country. Over a four year period I have shown and tried to get Rep. Inglis to correct this problem and have been stonewalled or told in effect that I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Sarah Palin was put on the ticket.
As a vietnam Veteran from Texas very active in Veteran affairs, and have worked on political campaigns since 1979. I can tell you illegals are the least of our problems. I’ll you a simple question. What is your position on the problems the Vietnam Blue Water Navy Vets are having? There are millions of Vets tired of the GOP’s unwillness to stand up for Veterans rights.
I met you in Simpsonville last summer at a rally. I will support you as a Republican but not as a third party candidate as that is sure defeat. Please adhere to ” a revitalized Republican”. Good luck.

Plaintiffs’ lawyers impede economic recovery

I am an Alabama resident.

Thanks for the good wishes! I did indeed study at Plano, from ‘66-’68.
Barbara, that sounds good except for the part about returning it to Congress. I mean, come on, Congress?!
