Christina has a Boiling Springs Tea Party supporter who works for a National research company setting up medical trials for new drugs. She has issued the following challenge:

Do you want a Congressman or woman who will really speak out against the pro-socialist, anti-American regime that has captured our government and wants to take us down the Road to Serfdom? Doctors, as well as everyone else, need to get on board. We are slipping fast. Christina Jeffrey for Congress

Christina Jeffrey, a candidate for the fourth district U.S. congressional seat, and Leighton Lord, a candidate for South Carolina attorney general, spoke to the Greenville County Republican Women (GCRW) meeting at the Poinsett Club, Jan. 28.

Dr. Jeffrey, a lecturer at Wofford College, who is seeking the Republican nomination for the seat held by incumbent Rep. Bob Inglis, said, “I am first and foremost a Christian,” and “I believe that a great country is an important asset” for Christians.

I am running to take back my country from liars, cheats and indolent congressmen and women, who have declined to read the laws they impose, have taxed and squandered the wealth of our people, have sullied the prestige and power of our nation, and have made our republic a debtor nation.
